Unfair hsmp tier 1 rule on previous earning section ?

hello

i granted 1 year hsmp visa in april 2008 .i need to extend my visa at least in the beginning of march 2009. i have been worked parttime for 2 months ten i switched to better job. on previous hsmp extension policy there was 2 section and calculation for pevious earning section. and that was saying ppl who initally granted , ll colect 8 months salary slips. But on current one i couldnt see anything about it. How come do they expect 12 months salary slips from me? isnt it wrong ?

12 months visa

at least 1 month looking for job
at least 1 month b4 applying for extension
