Recently my self, wife and one son have got ILR after 5 years work permit basis. We will apply for nationality next year. However our three childreen over 18 years also came UK on student visa and now living with us since 3-5 years. They still dependant on us and we are sponsering them for study visa. In futer we want to apply for them for ILR, Please guide us and help to find any way out to sort this problem. This is worth to mention that they came UK after 18 years age for studies purpose.
Please any case/ appeal reference in such case will be helpfull.

They came to the UK, as adults, on a student visa, and not on a dependent's visa. They do not qualify for ILR because they did not come on a dependent's visa and so cannot be assessed under that criteria. They will have to qualify on thier own merits for a student, work or family-based visa to remain in the UK.
