FLR IR

Post by worthtryit » Tue Dec 10, 2019 4:26 pm

Hi,
I need your advise/suggestion.

I got UK visit visa for 6 months and then 2 years and in time.

Last year my daughter in law has severe depression and GP advised for family support and I applied 10 years visit visa and got it.

Again they advised for extension and I went through a Solicitor and he applied FLR IR (6 months) and mentioned in letter that as circumstances and supporting documents suggest that mine stay is vital and need at least 2.5 years stay.

Home office decided on my application and issued bio metric card only till 31/01/2020 and advised that make alternative arrangements.

Can some one let me know that application and visa type was right and if yes then in future which type of Visa application I should go for as Psychiatrist going to issue another letter for me. So before going to my solicitor and need advise to be prepared.

Thanks in advance
