My Child’s first British Passport from overseas

Post by Zaigh982 » Fri Jun 28, 2019 11:57 am

Hi everyone!
I applied my Son’s British passport from Pakistan 2 Months ago just attended the interview 3 days ago in Liverpool office my son and wife are in Pakistan but the thing I am worried 😟 about is that before I got married in Pakistan I was married here in UK to an EEA citizen still not divorced yet but separated the same year I got British passport.
my questions are
1) Does this effects my Son to get a British Passport?
2) Getting separated with EEA spouse in the same year I got my British Passport can harm my status here in Britain.
3) They ask me lots of questions about the EEA marriage that why its ended same year as your British Passport.

Hi there
It should effect your son application as long as he was born after your became a British citizen

This topic was 6 months old, it’s likely the passport has now been issued.
