ietls academc for tier 2 visa

I am a software engineer and I want to work in UK
I need to take the ielts exam. But in my country (Chile) only the academic version is available (not the general training)
For the visa application (once I have a sponsor) can I use this academic certificate?

General training is recommended for tier 2 entry clearance. However, there are cases where IELTS academic is accepted.

The IELTS "normal" is available (I have this one). But the UKIV not.
I wrote to the british council and the said me that the general training for UKIV is not available.neither in any country around
