British citizenship

Hello,
Really need some advice regarding applying for uk passport.
I am mixed race and was born in Zimbabwe 1977, my father was born in London England in 1952. He moved to what was at the time Rhodesia and met my mother. Sadly my father died 1980, I’m told he married my mother in 1979, but do not have the exact date. Which is a problem because Zimbabwean authorities need exact date. Otherwise I cannot get my parents marriage certificate. Also I have my fathers surname on my birth certificate, but his details are not on it as he was Dead at the time Of my registration. I came to uk in 1983, and had ILR on entry. And I’m in contact with my fathers and my family. I would like to apply for a passport through my fathers heritage.
Any advice would be kindly appreciated.

Take care all and Happy new year.

You could register as a British citizen using Form UKF. The fee is £80.

Once you are registered, you can then apply for a British passport.
