Living in the Uk for 7 Years

as an international student , can i apply for indefinite leave to remain ? bear in mind i was 17 when i came here, and still on student visa, have no children or spouse, single,

any help would be appreciated,

I believe you can in 3 years if the rules havent changed by that time.

A student can apply for ILR after staying 10yrs continuously. But that rule might change in near future, probably by the end of 2009. It depends on how long legislation takes into effect.
