The consent form upload it in case the home office realise that they don't need to send people emails asking them for consent to go ahead with application via email
What happened is after you done your application you will receive email few days later asking for consent to go with your application so I guess the home office doesn't know its included in our application in sopra steria they never asked for this paper
And yes you have to do it and sign it upload it and take it with you to your appointment..
You have to upload your valid passport
And proof of address like driving licence or bank statement
And your BRC
And take them all with you
My appointment was only 10 minutes as the system was down and the lady there did my checks manually from her computer so I don't know how long in normal circumstances...

No you don't need to send anything to the home office
Upload only your current valid passport the information page
And proof of address
And your BRC plus the consent after you sign it
Take all the supporting documents with you to your sopra steria appointment they will rescan it and you will have them back with you

I saw when looking at the address we have to send the brc card to be updated.
it just says
PO Box 2075, Liverpool L69 3PG
Do I write Home Office EU settlement on the envelope?
Also when you sent your card..did u put a return envelope or home office just sent it back with their own postage

Finally an update on my card
I applied on 26th november 2019 to change my eu family memeber brc to settled status brc and got my card today!
Which is 13 jan 2020. It took them 48 days to make the change.
Now the point of concern for me is that can i travel on my card without updating my details by sending it to homeoffice as i am flying next week can i update the details after i come back to uk or is it compulsory to do it before i fly
@fbiboy can you please shed some light on it thankyou

@mitchelle
I am going to sopra steria next week wednesday..my appointment is at 11am
the thing is if u travel without updating your card..what if you are coming back into the UK and they swipe your new card and it has issues?
I did call the eu settlement scheme and they did say the card is sent back to home office for verification...fbiboy2002 sent his card and he got it back in days
