English test question

Hi everybody,
I'm a EU national, living in the UK for 20-odd years and now looking to become an official subject of Her Majesty.
I am a bit confused about the requirements for the test though. The SELT centers from the approved list have 2 types of test: the academic test and the general knowledge test, but no mention of what is B1. Are both ok?

It's the "GESE" test which contains various levels of tests, including B1.
The test costs £150 and you can book online where you select the B1 level.
