Spelling Of Name

Post by AzimScot » Sun Aug 03, 2008 7:06 pm

Hi,

On various supporting documents with my settlement visa application my name appears spelt 3 different ways!

1. Azim (Known As)
2. Azum (Birth Cert/Passport Name)
3. Azam (Marriage Certificate Name)

Will this cause a big problem?

Yes of course it will.

The onus is on you to make sure your name is spelt correctly. Officials will only put down what you have written on your application. Its your duty to make sure your name is spelt correctly.

For all we know you could be using other peoples identity.
