Stock shares as Maintenance Fund Proof ??? Need Advice

Hello all,

i wanted to apply for tier1 general from Pakistan. I have some investment equivalent to 3000GBP in stock market for about a year. Can I use it as my proof for maintenance fund as guide states that a letter from "any financial institute" will do? will a letter from my broker be enough as a proof ? btw I have no dependents.

You can not use because Stock prices can/may fall to very low value any time.
