naturalisation form

Post by aboudi » Wed Aug 06, 2008 1:17 am

The following is an extract of the guide for form a(n) for naturalisation

"You are single if you have never married, are widowed, divorced or your civil partnership has been dissolved."

Does that mean you tick the single box if you are divorced? or the divorced box?

I just looked at Form AN again. I'd say tick the box for divorced.

I agree, it isn't very well designed, but I'd tick the divorced box and leave it at that.

if you use the NCS when you make your application, you can confirm with them if you're worried about it. But that will make your status clear, so I don't think you need to be worried.
