Hello all,
I have few urgent queries regarding my PBS dependant Visa application.
Some backgrounds before asking question:
I arrived in the UK in Jan 2016 on PBS dependant Tier 2 visa. My current Tier 2 PBS dependant Visa expires in May 2020. My husband has recently got his ILR in August 2019 and on his BRP card his expiry date is in 2024.
As I am falling short of 8 months to qualify as PBS depedant to apply for ILR, I will have to apply for another Visa extension in May 202 to take me to Jan 2021.
My questions/ queries?
1. I guess I will have to go for 3 year PBS dependant route ?
2. Will the expiry date in my New BRP card take me to January 2021 so that I can apply for ILR or I will get full 3 years of Visa ?
3. The IHS fees is a big issue, as when we put main applicants expiry date (which is my husbands ILR date and its in 2024) which brings the cost to £2000 (400x5 years). What is the way it can be kept at 1 year fees or maybe 3 years for my new Tier 2 PBS dependant extension Visa? what are the ways it can be changed when selecting options in IHS website?
4. Also for maintenance funds (£630) for 3 months - can we show ISA saving account ?
In my previous Visa extension in 2017, we were never asked to show any maintenance funds as we were extending Visa in same category. Not sure why they are asking it this time ?
Any form of help and guidance will be very much appreciated . Thank You
