Eea family permit sister in low

Biometric on 27/01/2020
Liverpool confirmation 28/01/2020
Decision still waiting
Please let us know if you get any further updates regarding your application.

My timeline is almost same as your sister in law.

Update
I called today ukvi and they said the decision has been made will see the result I really hope will be positive

It is really relieving to know, that everyone who inquired UKVI has received a "decision made" response to their respective queries.

After reading earlier posts I feel that nobody with similar timelines getting "not so straightforward application" email is a good sign
:)

Now the only thing to do is to wait for further updates, all the best to everyone waiting for their outcomes. Fingers crossed!!

Hi Nuna78,

My timeline is exactly the same as yours.

It looks like it's taking around 12 to 13 working days on average, so we should have some news by mid next week.

Not straightforward means there is some problem with your application. It's like, they need more time for decision on your case

Reading older posts from other people not straightforward mails are received within 12-13 working days usually. Check the old posts in this forum to get fair idea.

So according to that I assume that since nobody in our timeline has received any "not straightforward mails" things must be fine and we should get some positive response hopefully.

We still can never be sure till we receive our passport at our doorstep.

Pray to God and hope for the best!!

@Tiktok , it's getting really frustrating now. It's my 14th working day and I too haven't received any response. If they said the decision is made then they should have replied by now. How long till we get any response. I am also tired of waiting.

Can you please send me UKVI contact number if you have it?

Online application: 29/01
Biometrics: 30/01
Same day the documents were transferred to DMC and receiver there.
Liverpool confirmation email: 06/02

I am a bit worried because I applied to EU settlement scheme FP and they just asked to proved my passport, marriage certificate and my husband EU settlement scheme application number (he has a settled status, works and lives there).
I figured it's actually not much to prove...and they were suppose to ask for more info if they needed, but I haven't heard anything yet.
I am so anxious that I am probably gonna call them tonight and ask if the decision has already been made or not

Latest update :

Thanks @Tiktok but I just received mail that my processed application is received at VFS on 11-2-2020.

So I should receive courrier in a couple of days. Feeling better. Still curios till I get passport.

My biometric date was 23rd so I'm sure your application status will also be received soon. All the best!

I got decesion on 7th February. They never sent me an email. I just went to VFS office and they had my decesion. They have refused my visa. It was an extended family member's family permit.
They have these three objections.

1. You have mentioned in your application that your sponsor is in UK.
While I mentioned he is here with me and he would like to accompany me. We attached ticktes to UK and accommodation but I think ECO was under the influence of Alcohol.

2. You didn't provide money receiving receipts. I did provided them money sending 21 receipts from my brother and 21 receipts from recieving receipts from myself again I would say ECO was under the influence of Alcohol.

3. I would also expect to see your and your family's financial situation and your family's circumstances. Your income, expenditures and evidence of your financial position that you can't live without the support of sponsor.

I beleive they don't even bother to look at our papers.
They just refusing most of the applications without even reading them prperly.

Hey @Damax so sorry to read about your refused application. Where did you apply from?
I don't understand why they unnecessarily reject the applications.

Hey MeMe,

Sooo, we received the email to come and collect passport/documents at the Visa application centre today!!!! (Yaay) Because of the time difference, my sister in law couldn’t make it in time before they closed so they will go tomorrow morning.
Will let you know how it goes! It’s the 15th working day from biometrics for us.
