Document submission tls contact uk

Post by blakki » Wed Nov 20, 2019 12:24 pm

Hello, I am a british citizen living in london and my wife is a Nigerian citizen living in Nigeria. we have a 7yr old daughter, who has british citizenship. i have recently applied for a spouse visa for my wife and i found the whole process utterly confusing. After paying all the fees and having booked a date for my wife at Tls contact lagos, she got there only to be told that the documents should be sent back to me in London, so I can send them to the tls contact settlement scanning hub in the UK. MY wife has done her biometrics at tls in lagos and has now sent the documents to me via DHL which I,m still waiting for.

I just want to know if im on the right track because i am totally confused by this process :? Any enlightenment will be welcome.

You are on the right track, for applications from some TLS handled countries, if you did not do the self upload then the documents will be sent to their scanning hub in London. Hope the address to send it to was given to your wife during biometrics?
Also, you may want to read up on specifications of documents to send I. E. Already copied as A4, sending original documents to them and return policy I. E. If to include a SAE for the return of original documents or they not accepting original documents at all.

Tlc assisted scanning hub for settlement visa London

Post by blakki » Fri Nov 22, 2019 1:49 pm

Please can anyone advise me on how to pay for this service. My wife has attempted the tlc contact centre in lagos on 20/11/19 and submitted an application for spouse visa. Whilst they took her biometrics they did not accept the supporting documents i sent to her. They told her to send them back to me and that i should send them to their assisted scanning hub in london by post. However i have no idea how to make a payment for this service. I have called and emailed them and no one seems to know anything. Does anyone know how to make the payment for the assisted scanning hub i london. Please help as time is running out!

Hi, I hope it's not too late for this but I had a similar issue and had to send the docs to TLScontact in London with proof of payment printed by my bank. If I remember correctly there's an account number on your TLS services page that you can use to make a bank transfer. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone who has any information... Also have a look at other info here:

Good luck!

Hello all,
I am in a similar boat, but in the other direction. I was able to book a biometrics for my wife to the Abuja branch for today, but was not able to find the Assistive scanning settlement option (you guys seem to have found it). She has been turned back because she didn't go with any docs. When I was to book it, my immigration lawyers told me to select that, but on getting there I couldn't find that option and informed them, they checked and couldn't find it either, I selected the regular.

Now my question is, where did you guys find that Assistive scanning settlement option, as our plan is that I will send them to the Hub here in London (I am in the UK)? I have checked and checked and for the life of me can't find it.

I'm trying to attach a picture of the options I see, but seem to be failing at that.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hello, i did mine last week and it went well and i was notified.
This is how it works for nigeria.
I paid £90 for the scanning here in london, sent the receipt to my wife because they will need it at the lagos center to verify payment. Sent my document to the scanning hub immediately.
IN Nigeria, pick appointment date choose assisted service, but u dont need to pay because you have the £90 receipt already.
Just attend the appointment with you passport, £90 receipt from bank, document checklist and your appointment letter
