Initial delay in joining T2G job

Post by RKS5 » Thu Feb 27, 2020 11:40 am

Hi All,

I need some help as I am applying for ILR post 5 years work in T2G.

My T2G initial visa was granted on 02-Feb-2015. I travelled to UK on 27-Mar-2015 but did not start the job until 12-Jun-2015. I changed employer in 2018 and have for further leave to remain as T2G until late this year.

Looking at two other posts it seems that delay in joining may not be an issues. Any confirmation or concerns related to applying for the ILR will be appreciated.

Secondly, in terms of absence letter from the previous employer, I am expecting the employment dates to be mentioned as 12-Jun-2015 to 22-Jun-2018. Would that be correct or should the start date be mentioned as my day of arrival to UK on the absence letter? Hoping that 15-Jun-2015 date won’t raise case worker's eyebrows during the application processing.

Thanks
RKS

As repeated several times on the forum, job start date is not relevant to qualifying period calculations for ILR.
The letter should state your actual start date. The gap is not an issue

ILR - T2G 5 Years -Payslip and Bank Statement

Post by RKS5 » Tue Mar 10, 2020 2:08 pm

Hello Gurus

I am about to apply for ILR (T2G 5 years route) imminently as I am already eligible.

I am in a fix and need some help in a deciding which of the following options should I go for while selecting which documents to submit.

1. My Payslip date is 14-Feb with salary credited on same day in the bank account. Last bank statement date was issued on 12th Feb. Can I attach those two and cover 12th Feb onwards by taking a print out of the transactions to date and submit it along with the application? I am planning to submit the ILR application on 12th Mar or 13th Mar, hoping to get the bio metrics done quickly after the submission.

Would above cover the one calendar month condition for the payslip and the bank statement?

2. Or should I wait for this month's bank statement which I will get on 13th Mar and then apply. Issue is that after 13th Mar, I will go in same cycle where bank statement wont be available for month.

Expert comments will be appreciated.

Regards

You should wait until your statement is ready or get a printout and then ask your bank to stamp it.

ILR SET (O) Form - Add another country the applicant has visited or lived in

Post by RKS5 » Sat Mar 14, 2020 10:55 am

hi All

I am confused with the question on immigration history while filling the ILR form. I can see a number of posts related to this question but could not find the exact answer I am looking for. The question in initial form was if I have lived or visited any country. I have mentioned my home country and also a country where I have worked for approximately 6 months. I have visited a number of countries but I am not sure whether to mention those visits or not. Why? Because the section has two different questions:

----------------------------------
IMMIGRATION DETAILS:
Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth? Yes
..
..
..
Add another country the applicant has visited or lived in Add
-----------------------------------

So the last question does mention the word Visited.

Please help......

It's simply about countries you were living in
