Apply for ILR with Drink Drive Conviction

Hi All,

Expert Advice required please , I qualified for ILR under the10 year route but I had a drink drive conviction for 13 months in Nov 2018.

The ban expired in Dec 2019 , my question is Can I apply for ILR or do I have to wait for 3 years after the conviction date which means I need to renew my residence permit under the `family route

I am currently on a residence permit and it due to expire in may 2020

Your ILR will be refused within 24 months of the court conviction. That means you must wait until Nov 2020. You should extend your current visa
