Want to apply for Immigration for my and my wife

Post by jmabbasi90 » Mon Feb 24, 2020 4:44 pm

I want to apply for Canadian Immigration from Pakistan. I am 30 years and working as a banker. I have done double Masters. My wife is also a banker and she has also done Masters in Economics. I want to know how should we start the proceedings, and what are our chances for possible immigration?

You can go to this page:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-re ... entry.html

Then click on "Check Eligibility".

This questionnaire will guide you. Then, you will see what are your chances.

I am not eligible for express entry. Any other options?

I know plenty of people who went to Canada. If you are not eligible now, your options would be:

- Check on regular basis as they update/change the criteria from time to time

- See what you can do to increase your chances. Sometimes by improving your profile, you may fit. There are things you cannot change (like your age) but other such as having diploma/professional certification... are within reach.

- Try another country. Don't focus too much on a country where you don't meet the entry criteria. By doing so, you may miss other countries that would otherwise accept you.

Good luck!
