Need advise for naturalisation application

Hi all. I first came to the UK as a student in 2010-2012 and after university I had PSW visa from 2012 to 2014. After PSW visa, I applied for FLR which was refused but my Solicitor lodged an appeal and a court hearing was scheduled in 2015. My partner and I got married in June 2014 and my solicitor submitted a new application (family member of an EU national) and had asked my previous FLR application and the scheduled court hearing be cancelled. I had been working while waiting for the court hearing and after a new application was submitted because I was advised by my Solicitor back then that it was legal and the company that I worked for accepted that I had submitted an application. I was granted the family member of an EU National permit in November 2014 and an EU Settled Status in June 2019.

* Did I violate the law when I worked while waiting for the court hearing in 2014 and while my new application was submitted?
* Do you think I have chance if I apply for a naturalisation application in June 2020 or shall I wait and apply in 2024?

Hello

Any period of time working or merely being present illegally in the UK during the last 10 years attracts a near automatic refusal.

It's up to you if you want to run the risk but chances are that they take your money and send you a refusal.

My solicitor back then lodged an appeal when my FLR application was refused and a court hearing was scheduled, was my circumstance considered illegal?
