EEA National wants to start fresh in UK

Dear All,
I am Spanish National, my 2 kids and wife are non-EU national, I want to come to UK and settle here with my family. We all have EU residence permits issued in Barcelona, my kids are due for Spanish Nationality but COVID-19 has delayed this process. With UK leaving EU I cannot figure out what my options are and came across this forum hoping some one could help and put me in right direction where to start. I believe I can still travel to UK with my family being non-EU but will have to apply for pre settled status before or after December 2020. I was thinking to come UK and start working here and bring my family later maybe after 5,6 months (not sure if this is good idea).
Can anyone please help and give me some sort of direction?

Hello

If you kid and partner are due to citizenship in Spain, it would be really damaging to leave Spain now. They can be Spanish potentially in a few months and have the entire world open to travel and many countries open to settle. If they give up that and come to the UK, it means for them starting from zero in order to get in many years the British citizenship.

As Spanish yourself, you can come to the UK for the moment as EEA nationals used to before the Brexit.
