From 1st hand experience, I put down date when I entered with view of remaining permanently/long stay which as @alterhase58 stated rightly. Even the guidance explains same, My application was successful based on above. So should be Sept 2010 in my own opinion.Fbiboy2002 wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 4:40 pmI would say your first came here was 2005 you will have to write the first day you arrived to the UK and write cover letter for all of your situation that will be alright
Best is to do a subject access request to HO and you can get all personal info and dates Relating to applications under your namesilverocks wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 4:39 pmHi alterhase58, thanks for your prompt reply. I am not sure if I have those info looking back beyond 2010. Don't you think it should be enough if I cover the period from 2010-2019/2020 regarding application history. Although the HO reference I am using is the same one which was issued when I was refused back in 2009.
I agree as well but not sure about disclosing the application info beyond 2010 on this very application form where I am saying entered 2010 but again adding application dates for 2005, 2006,2007,2009? Although I know HO have this info already. Really confused!!! Hope some one can shade more light in this.Doublestarxx wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 6:30 pm

Thanks for your input and I am taking it seriously. So do you think I should use my first entry as 2005 and disclose all the application info (using just the year of applications I made as not sure of the month and dates, SAR is not going to be easy to get now)? or use 2010 as first entry and still give all the application info?alterhase58 wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 10:25 pmThe question in the application asks about "any" immigration applications in the UK or abroad. There is no time limit. Provide the details you have available. Don't rely on UKVI having all your details going back years. Naturalisation is a different section from visas.
So you think I should use 2010 and obviously mention the previews application right?alterhase58 wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 10:58 pmStill think 2010 is the correct date but in my view this is not a deal breaker - disclosing your applications will of course refer to your prior period in the UK.
