Thanks a lot. I am just trying to be brave and strong, honestly within, I am freaking out with anxiety. I keep reading that home Office letter over and over again, wondering what they are up to. The wait and uncertainty are driving me crazy.

I think we are in the same boat. I have previously renewed twice under family route as a parent but decided to go for the EUSS September of last year. I got an email from the HO 4 weeks ago for additional evidence which I sent and they wrote back stating they require 1 more piece of evidence in order to consider me for a settled stay. I have now provided them with all they need & I know the wait won’t be long. My advice to everyone is to stay steadfast but don’t forget to apply pressure on the HO as that’s the only you can get things done with them.

Honestly nothing stops you under Regulation 16 of the EEA regulations.

The problem is that UK has left the EU and the implementation also finishes at the the end of the year.

Your BRP elapse October next year and by then we have left so you can't fight HO with EEA rules.

Moreover Appendix EU immigration for the Withdrawal Agreement then would be having power and may God help those who had leave under Appendix FM.

You will miss the dead line so be within your Appendix FM.

Direct relatives

For the purposes of assessing whether, by the specified date, the applicant is (or, as the case may be, for the relevant period was) a ‘person with a Zambrano right to reside’ for the purposes of Part 1 of Appendix EU, a direct relative of the relevant British citizen is:

• a parent
• a grandparent
• a brother or sister
• a spouse or civil partner (for example, in the case of an adult British citizen)
• a child
• a grandchild

This is an exhaustive list and no other types of relationship may be accepted.

You must be satisfied of the claimed family relationship between the direct relative and the relevant British citizen. See section ‘Assessing family relationship in EU.

A primary carer is defined under regulation 16(8) of the EEA Regulations as a direct relative or legal guardian who either:

• has primary responsibility for the British citizen’s care
• shares equally the responsibility for the British
citizen’s care with one other person.

Question is

1. Are you married to the child's father
2. Do you have courts order for parental responsibility
3. Do you have courts order for guardianship
4. Can you proof 2 years relationship with the childs parent. (Partner) and proof 5 yrs of relationship with the British child and dependency that is if you want settled status?. Anything less will put you into pre settled status

MARRIED FOR SO MANY YEARS WE HAVE TWO KIDS TOGETHER.....THE BRITISH CHILD IS 2YEARS GOING TO BE 3 YEARS OLD

I have a letter from the health visitor stating she wants to visit my step daughter for medical routine. That was last year.

I also have a letter from the daycare that I come to pick her and a contact person....but i have submitted this before.
Do i need to go to the daycare again to give me letter of introduction and scan it to them as one of my supporting documents?
