I had it at hand but the judge did not ask for the proof. It later came to light that in his written determination he said that he found me a fully credible and honest witness so he had no reason of asking me for further evidence outside of the 6 bundles I provided him with.
I printed out the embassy rules and translated them into English, I found similar cases where the people of my nationality faced the similar situations where their passports got expired and they could not get new ones, how the judges reacted and printed them out and had them in hand during the hearing. I also printed out some information from the press in this respect.
and that <My daughter would not have been admitted into my original country without a passport>
I got it from the rules on the immigration department website of my original country. Just printed the instructions on how the children born abroad are admitted into that country and what correct documents they have to have in hand when crossing the border. I even got hold of some relevant FAQs, which I also printed out.
Couldn't the H.O ask your embassy to issue some kind of emergency family entry document for you and your daughter?
I could not get it done myself, how would an alien unknown to my embassy would "ask" for this to be done for me?! Furthermore, the HO messed up my case so much that they did not even know how it all came about, especially after my file had been abandoned for over 8 years somewhere in the HO archieves with some documents going missing. They never made a move of trying to look into my file all that time let alone trying to "send" me back to my original country, which would have required a caseworker to be allocated to my file and a number of procedures initiated. That system was a joke!
