Financial Declaration for Tier 4 Dependent (Full Scholarship for Main Applicant)

Post by uzairzamansheikh » Tue Jul 21, 2020 1:56 pm

Hi,
My brother has got 100% scholarship for Masters in UK and he get paid monthly expenses for 1 year of his degree in UK as well.
He wants to bring his wife and 4 kids as dependants as well. If he applies visa for his dependants for 1 year, he has to show ~6.4 million Pakistani rupees of bank statement, which he hasn't maintained yet.
So my question is, instead of applying for 1 year Tier 4 dependent visa, if he applies Visit Visa (6 months) for them (as dependants or General Visit visa for around 2 months visit), then how much bank statement he has to show and for how long?
Thanks in advance.

A General Visitor visa does not have a single specific maintenance requirement. The applicant must show they can meet the cost of their visit. See https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor-vis ... 57cfb6a183

Eligibility
You must always show that:

you’ll leave the UK at the end of your visit
you’re able to support yourself and any dependents for the duration of your trip
you’re able to pay for your return or onward journey and any other costs relating to your visit

you have proof of any business or other activities you want to do in the UK, as allowed by the Visitor Rules
