If it is a dependent visa, then the sponsor has to show his/her ability to support, that's why their called the sponsor.RachelKeim wrote:I am not relying on my sponsor to prove he has funds. I want to demonstrate I have money as the applicant to support myself. I would like to know in exact numbers, how much the applicant needs to prove she has in order to be approved for the spouse visa. Not quite true. It's a spouse visa and there should simply be an ability to provide support and accommodation without recourse to public funds. The sponsor could actually be living in her/his parents home.republique wrote:
