Tier 1 Previous Earnings Query

Post by vijay_uk » Sun Aug 24, 2008 5:38 pm

Hi,

I am planning to apply for Tier 1 in September. I have a query regarding previous earnings section for tier1.

In last 15 months I have worked for 2 companies.

1. June-2007 to June-2008 -- Company X
2. July-2008 to present -- Company Y

I have payslips from June-2007 to May-2008 (12 months). But I dont have payslip for June-2008 (Final Settlement).

As I am planning to apply for Tier-1 in September, I want to claim points for the period June-2007 to May-2008 (which fall into 12 months within 15 months prior to my application) to make it clear for Home Office rather than making it complex by giving final settlement documents and all.

Kindly please suggest me, Can I go ahead with this?

And also clarify the the following:

1. Since I am claiming points for my salary from previous employer, Do I need to mention my current employer anywhere?

2. As part of this I would like to submit 2 evidences, Payslips and Bank Statements. Will these documents are sufficient?

Maintenance Requirements:

I am maintaining GBP2800 in my savings account from 31st May, It will be 3 months as I am applying in September.

1. Can I submit same bank statement for my previous earning and maintenance (i.e. last 15 months statement)?

2. And also In the 3 months maintenance, one week my balance fall below GBP2800 (when 1GBP = INR 86), Will they match
everyday balance with everyday exchange rate?

Kindly please suggest me, accordingly I will go ahead.

I would appreciate your suggestions on this.

Thanks
Vijay
