About ILR .

Post by KMY » Tue Jul 28, 2020 5:19 am

Hi, I entered UK on tier 2 general visa for first time on 8/03/2016 and left on 12/03/2016 for break before starting my new job on 29th May 2016 with NHS while waiting for my GMC registration and occupational health clearance
I rentered UK on 19th May 2016 and started my job on 29th May 2016 after GMC registration and occupational health clearance.
My other entry and exit details are below
6/01/2017 exit and entry 28/01/2017
14/12/2017 exit and entry 06/01/2018
23/07/2019 exit and entry 01/09/2019
I need to know when should I apply for the ILR ( counting from 8th march or 19 May 2016) as my tier 2 visa expiring on 4th April 2021 and will need to apply for extension if 5 years will be counted from 19th may)
Regards

Thanks for the reply
You said initial visa issue date?
That is my first entry, on 8th march , I assume that the initial absence should be explained in covering letter and it should be ok as cumulative leave / out of station stat , is not more than 180 days in any consecutive periods.
Thanks again for the reply.
Warm regards
