I hope you guys are ok in these difficult times!
This is my second post, last time I asked you about an application for my unmarried partner. As you guys predicted we got refused in the summer of 2019 because we didn't have enough proof about our cohabitation however we provided plenty of bills and proofs but none of them were in both names.
The officer wrote ~In light of all of the above, I have been unable to accept that you are party to a durable relationship akin to marriage.~ As you can imagine this was a very tough moment for us and we were discouraged to apply again or for an appeal.
At the moment, we are contemplating to apply again. We are together since 2017 and living together from the beginning of our relationship (but we don't have proof as mentioned above).
We are in a civil partnership since January 2020, we will get apostille to the civil partnership agreement. And we will submit the registration of our civil partnership which we got from the city hall. We have rental contract in both our names, we are thinking to translate both these documents in English for the application.
Is it necessary to submit the whole rental contract? Both our names appear on it, but on the city hall registration our home address appears that we are living there together.
We are not going to translate bills since we learned from our previous application that officer ignored bills and proofs if they aren't in both names which is the case this time as well. We cannot put both names on bills, we tried but it's not possible here.
I don't know if it's relevant but my partner has residence card from EU schengen country but she received this card through her job/company so it's not connected to me.
Do you guys have any tips on how to avoid another refusal or is there any other proofs that we should consider submitting?
