Temporary Citizenship : Is it the way for future?

Hello Guys,

I came across this page :

It mention about 3 stages for becoming UK citizen. It also mention that, if parliament agrees it will be valid from late 2009. Can anyone have more info on this one please.

What happens if that come along for all those already have ILR?

Hi,

It will be valid from late 2009 means exactly from when it will be valid. Because I am going to complete 5 years (my wife is a workpermit holder and I am a depedent) on 10th of July 09. So I would like to find out whether I will get ILR in July 2009 or not.

Hi,

I got ILR this May. So does this mean I am on probationary citizenship ? Will I be able to apply for natuarlization next year ??
