Yes, it's Stage 2 Global Talent. Biometrics appointment today. Just curious if anyone knows how long it is taking for decision after biometrics given the current Covid delays.

I submitted a Global Talent stage 2 application back in April.
Went for biometrics in Croyden on Friday (14th August). I don't have any updates yet, but I will post when I receive anything .

What does the decision letter look like? Do they email it to you? And do they tell you whether it was successful?

Yes, they said it was successful and expiry date of the BRP as well.

I still sadly have no update. How about you? I can't discern if there is any system in how they are processing Stage 2 GT.

My situation is wierld. I applied on the 24th of April, my dependants on the 8th of May, 2020 for the Global talent exceptional visa stage 2. I was not allowed for the biometric captures when TLS resumed on teh 28th of July due to TLS saying they need clearance from UK home office since my 30-days had expired. My dependants-Wife n 2 kids did on the 28th while while i was called the following day on the 29th of July, 2020.

My dependants visa came out since 24th of August while mine is still pending. Hopefully this week, mine will be out since we are all travelling together.

I submitted my Stage 2 application for Global Talent switch in country on 21st July, got mail for biometric reuse on 06th August. Haven't heard back from UKVCAS since then. Haven't got access to IDV App for ID verification yet.

Is there anyone in similar situation?

Not the same but I submitted my biometrics in person on August 14th as in in country switch (submitted stage 2 application June 1st) and haven't received a decision or any communication at all. So while a different situation, the lack of communication is the same.

My GTV stage 2 online application was submitted (& IHS fee paid) on 01 July 2020
Biometrics done through IDV app on Aug 28, 2020.
Still waiting for a decision.
