British Nationalisation 90 Days?

Post by natsha » Tue Aug 25, 2020 12:32 am

Hi,

I am going apply couple of months Nationalisation.

1- I got my ILR 30th Oct 2019 my 1 year complete 30 Oct 2020. So I can Apply my Nationalisation application 1st Nov 2020 ?

2- What about 90 days Outside Uk , means between 1 Nov 2019 to 31 Oct 2020 ?

3- Also If I have plan to apply little bit late lets say date of application 1 dec 2020 then which 90 days I have calculate ?From ILR issue date or before application date?

Thanks

For naturalisation purposes, the key date is the date of application and most requirements count backwards from the date of application.

So, if you apply on 1st December 2020, you count one year/five years, etc backwards from 1st December, etc.

The date of getting ILR is irrelevant for the purpose for naturalisation, provided you have held ILR for at least a year before the date of application.
