Date on submitted ILR Application is 30 July

Created account with UKVCAS on same date and submitted all documents on 31st July.

Email from FES Appointments <no-reply@mail.ukvcas.co.uk> on 5 Aug stating UKVI have identified you as being eligible for this new approach involving biometric reuse.

Tried logging to IDV App a few times last week and earlier today but got no account enabled message.

Hoping to get an invite by end of tomorrow.

Dear Moderators - Thank-you for all the help and amazing work both in advising on complex immigration queries and also keeping the forum clean. This post is not intended as timeline thread but informing other readers on status of where UKVCAS/UKVI is with regards to sending the IDV App invite.

I was able to login to IDV App at 4pm today but no email from UKVCAS/UKVI - except for UKVCAS account accessed.

Information Submitted - now wait for the next step.

I am british citizen and my wife is on PBS dependant just completed her 5 years. So the application was pretty straightforward.

Didn't receive any pre-assessment email.

So your Wife's ILR should be Set(M) right? I had a colleage's Set(M) approval come in < 24hrs after Biometrics. sigh! Sorry, I know it doesn't help you...

Not SET(M). Don't confuse things. A PBS Dependent can ONLY apply on form SET(O).

Yes, applied with SET O as per your recommendation CR001 few months back. Not panicking at the moment, will wait patiently.

Morning all - I applied on 31st July and gave my in-person biometrics on 1st Sep and received the home Office Atlas email today morning advising my application is successful. I am indebted to this forum for keeping me sane through this stressful period and providing timely updates that are useful to all. Hang in there folks - there is light at the end of the tunnel. Happy to share my experience if that is useful to anyone

I was there too for 8:30 AM slot. But mine is Tier 1 Innovator Visa, I applied on July 30th.

Can confirm I was able to login as well, 5 Aug applicant, no email from UKVCAS.

Now getting in the car to drive 8 hours to Scotland for a next day appointment.

Immediately after booking, I got the error message on the UKVCAS booking page like you describe. I'm not sure if everyone is getting that, or if it's just a message displayed to people who already booked.
Either way, I quickly got my QR code for my appointment by email.

I have received the eligible to use IDV app email yesterday around 7pm. Applied for ILR (LR) on 22nd Aug 2020.
Now waiting for the email invitation to use the IDV app.

Which process is faster to get the decision, IDV app or appointment for Biometrics ? Any idea guys

Should I keep waiting?

I fulfilled the condition of ILR application(set LR) since 3rd. June 2020, and at the time there was no super priority service (extra 800). Since (set LR) takes a quite long time to process, I did not make the payment at the last step and decide to wait.

3 month passed now and there is still no sign of super-priority services (only 2400 option at the payment step, no 3200 one), I am in doubt should I keep waiting?

My current visa expires at Jan 2021, the current visa takes more than 6 months to process(as states), so if I apply it now, it almost guarantees I cannot go back to my home country by Xmas/new year.

If I keep waiting, I don't know how big is the chance they resume the super-priority service before Xmas, it looks they having great progress at IDV though...

Update!

I've just received my IDV app invitation email 25 minutes ago.

I decided to book an in-person appointment.

I got an appointment at Lansdowne Road in Croydon this coming Monday (September 7) for £62.99.

Looking *very quickly* across other London area service points (Croydon, Stratford, Mark Lane, etc) there are a few cheaper appointments (£69) but most seem to be in the £110 (core service) or £135 (enhanced service) and are available starting the week of September 14th at the earliest - some service points didn't have anything til the week of September 20th.

Context: my application is ILR Set(M) and I applied on August 4th

Although I myself wasn’t eligible for biometric reuse I feel it is so unfair that at each stage the users chosen for IDVapp are pushed back into the pileup in the waiting arena. What is this special treatment that they get an email to inform first about IDVapp eligiblity and then wait another few weeks for the actual invite. And then again wait for longer decision time. Getting chosen for this particular lottery sucks.

This is the 2nd time I am bearing the brunt of a new experiment!
5 years back I was one of the earliest one going to get the BRP. But the new BRP system wasn't streamlined. My BRP never arrived at post office(my dependents BRP did arrive though!). It was after 3 long months of chasing HO, i finally got my BRP. Living with that nightmare was horrible! It's deja vu for me
