Baby born - Tier 2

I’ve a baby now, born in UK. I’m under Tier 2. I’m from Egypt.

My question about baby residency visa and the BRP.

We have the birth certificate but not the Egyptian passport.
Can we issue a BRP for the baby now or Tier 2 dependent visa before issuing the Egyptian passport?
Or do we need to issue the Egyptian passport first, then apply for the UK Visa and the BRP?

First of all, Congrats !

You do NOT need the passport, actually, in the application, you can choose the option "passport is not available - born in UK", I have applied for my kid in Sept 2019, and all was fine. They ask for his/her birth certificate, and your BRP. I just added couple of documents (marriage certificate, two bills, etc).
