HSMP extension docs IT contractors

Hi All/experts

What doucments would suffice for IT contractors work thru umbrella company for HSMP extension ?

Technically umbrella company becomes employer. do we need to include contracts from agency/client as well ?

i am IT consultant as well - what you need to send is your bank statements showing credits and invoices from/to your clients/umbrella company/ltd company. if you have a limited company a letter from your accountants saying the affairs of the company are in order and mentioning turnover would be helpful.

the guidelines mention audited accounts but nowadays they are required only for large companies - no small/one-man companies require audited accounts - this can be mentioned on your accountant's letter.

if you don't have an accountant but use umbrella company a letter from them would do.

the bottom line is you need to prove you have worked and have been paid for your work in a legal way (ie. you will/have paid taxes & NI).

Thanks for your reply. I have payslips issued by umbrella company showing all the taxes paid (NI & and all) as well as bank statements for payment received to the present date.

Do the above docs suffice or do i need anything else ?

should i consider myself , as self-employed or employee for umbrella company ? ( to fill out the form )

Accountant letter template

does anybody have a template of an accountant letter showing things are in order and taxes have been paid for???
