New Tier 2 application after withdrawal

Hi,

I am currently on a Tier 2 visa that is valid till end of 2021. I recently got a job offer and applied for new Tier-2 visa last month and used the new IDV app to complete the biometrics part. However I received a better offer recently and submitted a withdrawal request for the above visa application.

Now I am not sure how to know that my previous application has been withdrawn before asking the 2nd company to assign a CoS and apply for the visa again.

Any thoughts/suggestions from anyone would be highly appreciated.
