Returning Resident Visa application : Passport Not Yet Returned by UKVI

Hi,

This is in reference to my Returning Resident Visa application to UK Visas and Immigration. I had submitted my Passport at VFS office in Cochin ,India when I went for my Biometric appointment on 11 Aug 2020 .

The application was refused on 13 Aug 2020 and I received the decision letter stating my application is refused on 18 Aug 2020 and have a choice to go for an administrative review. I decided not to go for the review.

I am currently waiting for the return of my passport.It has been 1 month and 15 days after the decision has been taken and yet my passport has not been dispatched for return.

I contacted the UK Visas and Immigration multiple times for the same and eventhough they escalated the case on September 10th ,there was no further action taken .
I needed my passport urgently .Is there anyone who has information on how this can be resolved.
