I have seen that naturalisation takes 5 + 1 years normally, and 3 + 1 years if you are married to a UK citizen.

Does being married to an EU citizen make any difference?

No, married to an EU citizen you get PR after 5 years, and citizenship 1 year later. However, at least you are not affected by the changes that are due next year, so you will certainly get PR after 5 years.
