Hi,

I am wondering if a few people know about you and your spouse applying for a visa and know the office you are applying for. Is it possible for someone who knows you out of anger or jealousy someone or a few people have against you to report you for such and such to the immigration officer. In my case some relatives are not happy with my marriage as it wasn't in there family hence there daughter wont get the British high standard of living life as well as there whole family coming to the UK to settle. Question is can they file a compliant against me an allegation weather true or not and delay our application?

Allegations of a serious nature would be examined but without hard evidence there would nothing to examine. In other words a letter rambling on about some irrelevant point would not achieve anything. An accusation that you were married to someone else either in the UK or PAK would cause trouble as it would have to be looked into.

Alleged criminal activity by either you or your wife in PAK would be of no value as that is a matter for the local authorities to deal with. No charges = no crime.

This type of "spoiling" does take place but the ECO's are aware of this tactic and pay little notice especially if the allegation letter is poorly written.

Much more mischief can be achieved in the intervening period once you are back in the UK with your wife. While you wait out the two years for ILR you would not believe some of the tactics employed.
