Long residence ILR application : Need to travel

I have applied for ILR on LR basis on 8th September and submitted bio metric details by 25 Sept. Now waiting for the decision. My Current Tier2 ICT visa expires on Oct 2021.
The work i was doing is finished at the end of September and my company is looking for other opportunity to make me billable. Now look like I might get a work but for that i have to travel to Sweden for few weeks. If i say No for this work that might put me under redundancy situation. So to save the job I need to travel.

As per Home office rule if i travel my ILR application will be considered withdrawn.

Is there any way i can explain the situation to home office and they expedite my application?

To do new job, I need to process Swedish work VISA which will take few weeks.
Can i apply for Schengen visa while application for UK ILR under consideration? I mean, will my ILR application be considered to withdrawn when i apply for Schengen visa or when i travel?

You can not travel until a decision is made. Cases are only expedited at discretion but not guaranteed if there is a medical emergency/compassionate reasons for which you have to provide evidence. You do not fall under that category.

AFAIK, merely applying a different visa for a different country does not invalidate your ILR application.
However, you shouldn't travel till you receive your new BRP
You should be explaining this to your employer

You may apply for a Schengen visa if you wish. It will have no impact on your ILR application. However, you can not travel outside UK until a decision is made on your ILR application. If you do, your application will be withdrawn.
