Hi all, some assistance needed if u can please . .
I have been living and working in the UK for 5 and 3/4 years now since Nov 02. currently considering applying for Naturalisation however just found out a driving conviction for lack of insurance in Sep 07 may be held against me until conviction becomes spent in Sep 2012 on the Good Charcter Grounds. Also, these 5 years in the UK have been spent serving the Crown in the Armed Forces in the UK never abroad so Residential requirements are met in addition to the others.
Is there any discretion that may be applied in my case by the HO? and if so how should i go about presenting a strong case for consideration as a possible EXTRA 5 year wait is a big disappointment.
