Tier 2 General - Extension

Hi,

I am currently on T2 General visa that was granted in 2016 and is expiring towards the end of February 2021.

Could I request the Moderators/Experts to please advise on the below queries regarding the Extension of my current T2 (General) visa?

* How soon can the Extension be applied before the Expiry and would the Extension be granted under the new 'Skilled Worker' category?

* How long could the Visa be extended for?

* Would switching into the new Skilled Worker category from the current T2 General visa reset the clock for ILR or have any other impact on ILR?

* Does the Employer need to apply for the CoS for the Extension in the first week of the month (as was the case for the initial T2 General visa) or could it be applied and assigned any day during the month?

* What is the current timeframe for the decision as the Priority and Super Priority services are suspended?

* What are the Documents required to be submitted with the Extension application?
