EEA-2 Applying in person?

Post by eylemy » Thu Sep 11, 2008 5:30 pm

Hi,

I did my EEA-2 Residence card application on 28th of March 2008.It was actually second time application, because i had to withdraw my application at first time for urgent travel reasons. They sent me a travel document -residence card stamped on a paper , not in a passport. On my return i re-applied and it is considered as new application.By then my surname changed as well as my passport....

I wonder whether anyone answer me reagrding applications on the day.I heard that you need to pay £600 and they process it asap instead of waiting over 6 months.
Is it only rumour or only for British married to non-European?
Many thanks.

It's rumour, EEA2 applications can be made only by post. £600 is for non-EU married to British, and then don't think it's 600, same day applications cost something around 1000 pounds.

You are welcome.
Yep, the (almost yearly) price rise for applications beats any inflation. And as the price go up, the standard of service it seems just keep going down.
