Quick question, free appointment available on 7th Dec. What are the chances or getting any sooner? Should I go for it or try again?
Never mind, it's gone by the time I clicked the button :?
Looks like if free slot available then we should just go and grab it if it's within a month or so.

Sure, will do.

A quick question on cohabitation documents - should I upload joint utility bills, bills just on my name and bills just on my wife's name all under my upload section or I should do joint bills + my bills under my section and my wife's individual bills under her section? Thanks.
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.

You do not need any cohabitation documents for yourself. Cohabitation documents are needed for the dependent only.

Ah, perfect. Thank you!

Just read the checklist again and it does say "If you have added a spouse or civil partner to this application form who is applying at the same time as you, please provide documentary evidence of cohabitation since you were last granted leave (up to a maximum of two years). Evidence provided should cover the whole period and be in the form of official letters or documents, addressed to yourself and your
spouse."

Yes but this requirement for the spouse not the main Tier 2 applicant.
Just upload the cohabitation documents in your spouse’s section.

Re: ILR set (O) - documents submission

Post by srsw » Thu Nov 12, 2020 9:09 pm

I've uploaded all the required documents in UKVAS website, however, haven't submitted it yet.

UKVAS website mentions "Please ensure you check your Access UK document checklist before including documents in the categories below."

1. What is this Access UK document checklist btw? Is it the checklist that we download in the "Further Actions" page?

2. Do we need to tick all the boxes on this checklist and upload under "Proof of Application" category in UKVCAS website?

3. Anything else to check before hitting the submit button?

Thanks
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.

1) Yes

2) No. It is for your own records only.

3) No. You can always upload any extra documents (in case you remember later on) before your appointment and can be submitted at the appointment itself.

Just double check all your documents are complete before you self-submit though (although you will get one more chance before appointment to upload any more extra).

2. That checklist has a barcode on top & also it's mentioned in the document categories picture (attached), hence I was a bit confused.

3. So we can still add extra documents after hitting submit documents button, but perhaps won't be able to delete any documents after that stage. Ok.

Great! Thanks CULLINAN as ever for your help.

3) Correct, you will not be able to delete any. UKVCAS will not be able to delete any either. They will be sent to UKVI.

Re: ILR set (O) - email from Home Office Atlas

Post by srsw » Fri Dec 11, 2020 4:01 pm

I've recently submitted biometrics and today received an email from Home Office Atlas asking about the following:
We can see from our records that in your previous application there were dependant Children; XXXX & YYYYY. Under our Duty of Care obligations we are required to make further enquiries in instances where a dependant child is present on one application but not on the next.

Please could you confirm the current situation with regards to XXXX & YYYY. Will a further application be submitted for them prior to their current leave expiring November 2021? Please provide this information as soon as possible and once this has been received we will continue with our consideration of the Indefinite Leave to Remain applications promptly.
1. Kid's BRP expires in Nov 2021, so should I just say that further application will be submitted before their current leave expires or should I be more specific and say I'll be applying to register them via MN1 form once my ILR decision is approved?

2. Is the above email automatically generated or is it an indication that a caseworker is now assigned?

This is a normal standard child safety protocol email. Just reply that you plan to register your children as BC via MN1 after your ILR as they are born in UK.

This is good news as your application is already been considered. As soon they will get your response, the decision will be made right away most likely. Good luck for a speedy successful decision. Keep an eye on your email and junk folder

It is the weekend now.. I am hopeful you will get a successful decision tomorrow or by Monday.

Responded back to their email. Btw, submitted biometrics this Wednesday only, but if they approve it within the next few days that would be awesome.

I've been checking my spam folder every day

Hey @CULLINAN, finally got the approval emails today. After a long delay (compared to most Set O applicants) I could final relax a bit :D

Sharing the good news with you before posting in the timeline.
Thanks once again for all the help and support with my application. Appreciate it very much.
