New job offer while waiting for ILR

Hi All,

I have a new job offer that is starting on Jan 1, 2021. In order to start, I have to successfully complete my ILR application. I have been on a Tier 2 visa with my current company for the last 5 years and recently applied for ILR and have done my biometrics as well. I wanted to submit with priority services, but unfortunately could not. But alas, I have submitted everything online and did my biometrics in person last Monday.

I would like to know is there anything more that can be done to possibly hear back from the HO sooner rather than later? I have seen on some threads that some people reach out to their local MP to escalate? Or others have checked a website for their right to work status, what website is this?

Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated, I am tracking the ILR timeline chat, but I just wanted to start a new conversation for anyone that is awaiting an ILR to start a new job...

You can not do much other than wait. Contacting MP before 6 months is not advisable. Also, please continue in the same thread where you posted earlier for similar questions. You already got an answer there:

Thanks for the reply, I was not sure I could post in the other threads about this and wanted further understanding.

I believe other people have contacted MPs, what do you say/ask of the MP if you are under a deadline for a new job starting...
