Leave to Remain

Post by outrageous » Sun Nov 22, 2020 10:59 am

Hi, I hold Leave to Remain which will get me ILR after 10 years. I am still in my first 2.5 years with my
next Further Leave to Remain extension coming next year in March. Therefore I have spent around 2 years on LR so far.

My question is my daughter has turned 10 years and is born in the U.K. So can I apply for her nationality?

Your question is unclear. However, you can register your daughter as British Citizen only after you have ILR i.e. settled status.

This is the ILR forum. Why are you asking nationality questions here ???

Sorry. Yes I do have ILR now.

I was asking this question on behalf of my friend as he doesn't have the ability to ask these questions on the forums. And I kept thinking on which forum I should post this question but it didn't click in my mind that I should be posting it on the nationality section where I posted the nationality question before for myself .

Very sorry Zimba.

Thanks for the answer anyways by your colleague Cullinan.
