Travelling to Asia Whilst Having an EU Residence Card

Hello,

I had an important question which i needed your assistance with...

My niece has received her EU Residence Card recently, she will be visiting Pakistan for roughly 3 months. She will be coming back to the UK but the relationship between her and her husband isn't well, so i had 2 questions with regards to this matter:

1. Can she come back to the UK if she has an EU Residence Card?
2.Can the husband do anything to prevent her from coming back?

Hi Guys,

She has the normal Residence Card and under Type of Permit, it states EU Settlement Scheme and i've been informed it's valid for 5 years.

She will be travelling to Pakistan but she'll be back in the UK so can the husband (who is an EU Citizen) do something to stop her from coming back?

Also, if there relationship has ended after 5 years, will she still be able to apply for ILR in the UK?

He can't do a lot but he might try.

He can contact the Home Office and tell them that the relationship is broken.

There is this item: "you separate from your partner".

This may cause issues for her. The longer she stays in the UK, the longer she gives him the opportunity to fill that reports and the Home Office taking action.

I don't know if they curtail EU Settlement Scheme cards, I have never seen a case yet, but it could happen.
