Address Change Query Before Applying Visa

Hi,

I will be applying for switch to Tier2 ICT dependent to Tier2 general visa in one or two weeks. And also planning to shift our home. I am little confused which address to provide in the visa application if we move out in 1 month. Or shall we stay in the same address and let the visa process get over. Please suggest.

Does the BRP come to home address or we have to collect from the post office?

Is it okay to give the new address before moving in as it asks for current address? I mean do they check the address in the database?

So I will be moving out on 10-Jan-21. And I will be applying on 3rd week of Dec or 1st week of Jan. What is the best thing to do? If I give the new address, is there some checking which is done?

No checking is done, however, in application there may be a question on how long you've been living there.

Better to give new address if you are definitely moving & apply in 1st or 2nd week of Jan. It's holiday season so nothing will happen even if you apply 3rd week of Dec.
