Mistake in the application

Post by JJ11 » Mon Dec 14, 2020 9:56 am

Hi all

I submitted my application and also done the biometrics. Just last night, I was going through my application and noticed that I made a mistake not declaring that my partner is also known by another name among his colleagues and friends. However officially he has not changed his name, same name on all official documents. He received his NTL card in Oct, it shows his original name, even he did mention in his Biometrics application that he is known by another name.
Is your partner known by another name? No

Kindly suggest what can be done to avoid the rejection and losing money, highly appreciated your advise.

Many thanks
JJ

What did you apply for?

If it's naturalisation: this wouldn't be something you get refused on.
But for peace of mind you could send a letter explaining the facts (including all your details and reference number).
Email: citizenship.support@homeoffice.gov.uk
