Hi Immigration experts I'm asking this question on behalf of my cousin. I searched keywords for topics remotely relating to his situation but did not find any hence my decision to open a new topic/ thread.
My cousin is about to switch from 10 ywar family route to the 5 year route after he split up from the mother of his British child. The problem is, he is putting up with a friend at the moment in a three bedroom rented accommodation. His friend has a wife and one child so altogether they are 4 in a 3 three bedroom rented house. Since his accommodation is not classed under public funds can he get a signed declaration letter from his friend acknowledging he is accommodating him for a few months unti lhe gets a place of his own to rent? Is there anything else his friend needs to add that is vital for his accommodation? My cousin works and does not rely on public funds.
Thank you
