Expired Tier 2 (General) BRP returned to Bristol instead of Croydon

Hello!

I had a quick question with regards to returning my Tier 2 (General) BRP to the Home Office.

My ILR BRP has now arrived and my Tier 2 (General) BRP expired last month.

I cut up my Tier 2 (General) BRP and posted it to the Home Office's address in Bristol, however my approval e-mail had the Croydon address mentioned within it to return the old BRP to.

Will this be a problem? If so, is there anything I can do to not incur a financial penalty?

IF you really want your peace of mind (although unnecessary), write a cover letter and post it to the croydon address with proof of postage to Bristol address. That might put your mind at ease.
